Its A Wheelchair, But Not As We Know It..

Author and MS sufferer Sally Hyder climbes Ben Nevis in an electric wheelchair

On the 23rd of June 2011, MS suffer Sally Hyder successfully climbed Ben Nevis in a BOMA off road electric wheelchair supplied by Molten Rock. Molten Rock Equipment Ltd was founded in 2004 by engineer Chris Swift (35). Chris is a Tetraplegic and has been a wheelchair user following a neurological illness at the age of 19. Chris's vision was for a wheelchair that would give him and other wheelchair users the freedom to enjoy the great outdoors.
